Green Screen Jazz Animation Workshop

Sam Haynes Artist facilitates - THIS IS NOT AN OPEN EVENT

The idea is to make paper cut out and small assemblages using some materials gathered from shops inspired by jazz music. These will then be layered over streetscape photos/videos. ‘Community engagement has always been an important part of my working practice. Breaking down barriers and making the arts accessible is why I remain passionate about creating artworks for public spaces. The richness and diversity of our local communities, both past and present, inspire my work, which aims to both engage and uplift the public, bringing an element of surprise into our everyday lives.’

Pop up Happiness Sessions - with the TAP Arts Project

, 11:00am - 12:00pm

Belinda will be popping- up listening to, collecting and displaying kindness stories connected to music, around Tooting as part of the Streets Event. After each session she will blog the stories on her Happy Tooting blog site to inspire people either living or visiting Tooting to be part of a thriving community, which connects with one another in positive ways. We hope that people will share happy stories, and be inspired by some of them, upload their acts of kindness, the things they are grateful for and be inspired by our local acts that they may try themselves.
